We loved the View from the “Mt. Fuji World Heritage Centre.” The beauty of the views surrounding Mt. Fuji is simply breathtaking. From the majestic snow-capped peak to the serene lakes and lush forests, every moment offers a new perspective on nature's grandeur.
Traveling by train adds another layer of magic to the experience, as we glide effortlessly through picturesque countryside, passing quaint villages and rolling hillsides. The smooth rhythm of the train allows us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the stunning scenery, making the journey as memorable as the destination itself. It's a seamless blend of convenience and beauty, ensuring that every moment of the trip is truly unforgettable.
“The Fujisan Hongu Sengentaisha Shrine” was a serene oasis nestled in the shadow of majestic Mt. Fuji. Its tranquil grounds and ancient architecture exude a sense of sacred beauty, inviting visitors to pause and reflect. Surrounded by lush greenery and steeped in history, this shrine is a must-visit destination for those seeking spiritual solace amidst nature's splendor.
We had the most fabulous time . Thank you to Masao and Grace for making our visit so wonderful. We can fully recommend the Shizuoka Free Guide to everyone.
We called our guide “Chilli,” and she was an absolute pleasure to be with. We also met her lovely family.
The “Nihondaira Hotel,” where we had fantastic views of Mount Fuji, was excellent!
Our day with Chilli was the best! We had a wonderful time with Chilli, and we had a day to remember. She was so much more fun to be with. Fee paying guides from our ship excursions were nowhere near as good. Everything went smoothly - it could not have been better.
Mr Fuji was amazing, perfect weather day, "World Heritage Centre" was fantastic! " (The Sengen) Shrine" was a very zen-like and calming walk, just beautiful! "Mt Fuji Shiraito waterfalls and the park" were the best. It was very calming and quiet.
We also enjoyed Udon noodles (Yakisoba?) Lunch with Masao.
We had 2 guides, Masao and Yuko. They were both excellent; very organized, polite and knowledgeable.
"Shiraito Falls" was very beautiful, and we also liked "Mt. Fuji World Heritage Centre." It was too bad Mt. Fuji was not visible on the day of our tour and we were a bit behind schedule so did not have much time to spend there but we still enjoyed the centre very much.
Rie was great! She set the visit plan based on our wishes. She was very cooperative, very knowledgeable and very kind. She & Muramatsu-san made our stay perfect. We enjoyed every minute!!!!
Sesso Lake is beautiful; the color of the water is very unique, and the short hike to the observation point was great – worth the effort!!!!
We bought soy souse at "Maruie soysauce kawane honke" & also Soba with green tea at "Kawane Onsen." We love the taste of Japanese food so we wanted to take with us souvenirs from local producers.
The stay at Asobi-an and the support of Rie-san were perfect for us!
